WW SWC Split Stem During Veg

Just looking for opinions/suggestions on how to repair accidentally splitting the stem lengthwise a few hours ago. The plant is an 8 week old feminized WW which was mainlined and just had its third and final cut the other day leaving 8 growth tips. I put some clonex gel in the split and wrapped some stretchable tape and plastic coated wire around the stem near the split. I also used some plant velcro around the two mains to try and keep it together while healing. Any input on what I did right/wrong and what to do going forward is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Dont sweat it. Just keep what you have done there on there. Our last plant split right down the middle like yours and we wrapped it and tied the problem branches together just like you did. Kept em like that throughout the entire grow without a single issue at all.

Thanks for the input. She seems to still be healthy and grew a couple inches so I'm thinking I acted quickly enough to avoid disaster lol.
