World Of Seeds Wild Thailand

Breeder : World of seeds

Strain : Wild Thailand

Indica/Sativa : Pure Landrace Sativa

Grown in soil

This one works. Buds are very dense and resiny, pale green in appearance and cures to a pale or tan brown due to resin but you can still see the pale green through the tan. This vapes very well with a nice taste and effects are quick to come on. within a few minutes.
Well after finishing vaping I suddenly got the urge to start dusting my table top and PC and wiping down my keyboard, all of which I did on autopilot as my head was somewhere else and lost in its own rabbit warren of thoughts. This is a strong one. I feel a certain pressure weighing on top of my head and its a very nice smoke indeed. This can get you motivated to get things done or it can also just space you out, depending on what you are doing, and if you overdo it could possibly give you a bout of severe paranoia. This strain gets the thumbs up from me :ganjamon:

The wild Thailands are the two at the back and I just did a budshot below.

Any chance on finding some Chocolate Thai seeds or clones?

At this point, probably only if you are extremely well connected with the right organized crime syndicates that control the various "criminal enterprises" in the country, and can talk someone into escorting you onto one of those islands that they warn tourists not to set foot on (because they won't be coming back if they do).

And even there, word is that the classic Thai strains have mostly gone scarce, thanks to all the commercially-available strains (seeds) these days.

But I do wish you luck. That one was Something Special.

I spent a few years there in the 80s and 90s and was all over. Definitely none of those islands left :(
I guess the reason Thai genetics tend to always gets stepped on is they just aren’t that suitable to indoor growing. I think the high’s pretty well represented in some of the Ace strains though.

Pure Landrace Sativa

I didn’t say anything the last few times - but honestly that plant shown -may or may not have some Thai in it, but it isn’t a landrace sativa or anything close to being a pure Thai strain. Thai weed doesn’t look like that at all.

No insult whatsoever to you or your plant though- it’s a WOS thing :thumb:

I got mine from a grouchy old b@stard who had one of those jobs that he couldn't discuss with friends, family, or even spouse/children/parents (which is probably why most people in such lines of work end up being grouchy old b@stards, lol - although not, I think, in his case ;) ). It remains on my personal top-five list of strains. Kind of skimpy (for the size of the plants, I mean) and flowering time always seemed like (∞ - 1) and with a flowering stretch scaled to match, but that wasn't why I stopped growing it; that'd be its propensity for going shim on me  . Never managed to make that entirely disappear. I miss it, but I don't miss the hermaphrodism.

Good to know. I was gifted some "cross" seeds from some of Ace Seeds' strains. Panama (green phenotype) x Panama (red phenotype), Malawi (purple phenotype) x Malawi (green phenotype), Zamaldelica (B (Thai) phenotype) x Malawi (C phenotype), and Zamaldelica (B phenotype) x Panama (B phenotype); I have a couple of that last one. And a couple (different gifting, IIRC) labeled "Zamaldelica bag seeds." I don't have any Golden Tiger - I just checked. Twice:p.

I'm thinking that mine had 13-fingered leaves when it was happy and healthy, although I might be misremembering. Turns out brain cells are like pet skunks - when they wander off, they never seem to be able to find their way back home.

Yes my holy grail strain for the last couple years has been a Thai leaning pheno of Golden Tiger. The Malawi x Thai high is a great mix. Ace keeps reworking those crosses and all the other GTs I’ve grown have been more Malawi influenced. The latest one was no different, but as of a quick dry yesterday and much smoking since then- it’s still a great high. I pollinated it it with a male GT this time around, plus am going to sprout more GTs soon.

The hermaphroditism thing is normal I think and another reason Thai always gets bred with other things when they’re marketing to home growers. I’ve read that it’s pretty much 100% inclined to hermie as a pure/landrace strain.

Yes its got some pretty broad leaves for a supposed 100% sativa hasn't it ?, I was looking at them when they were growing and debating with myself over it. But still top notch smoke for what its worth.

That same thing can be seen with a lot of seedbank/breeder "landrace sativa" Durban Poison strains. Many of them seem to be unable not to mess up improve whatever they get their hands on.

But still top notch smoke for what its worth.

If it works for you, that's the important thing.

Well ty all for your help I will keep searching, I just know there is an old stoner from the late 70's early 80's that has a few seeds around. I will never forget Unraveling from the bamboo stick and it was wrapped with something very similar to dental floss but more waxey. I weill let ya know if I hear of any!!!

have that one in stock - thanks for the report !!!

Well, some people may have doubts about this being a pure thai, but after curing for a few months in a jar it certainly snells like a pure thai to me :ganjamon: . For me a pure thai has a very distinctive and unmistakable smell to it, somewhat like a musty chocolate smell and sweetish. Well I cracked open my jar of wild thai last night just to check on it after it had been curing for a few months and was immediately overwhelmed with this familiar smell so I would definitely say this strain from WOS is 100% thai.

thanks for your feedback -- world of seeds has some very good "lance" strains also their auto's are very good producers

I am very skeptical of any so called pure landrace strains. I think they are pretty much all gone. In the mid seventies I was given some Alaskan weed by a friend who brought it outside to Oregon. I mentioned Matanuska Thunderfuck and he just laughed and told me there is no such thing. I remember reading an article in the '90s about a guy taking seeds from Holland to Jamaica.
