A hotel clerk testifying in a break-in case in Livingston County admitted on the stand that she smoked marijuana before coming to court.
The revelation yesterday by the 20-year-old Amerihost Inn and Suites' clerk halted the preliminary examination in the break-in case.
Livingston County District Judge L- Suzanne Geddis ordered the woman taken into custody for contempt of court after she cursed at the judge. And the judge ordered the woman to undergo a drug test, which showed marijuana in her system.
