I just wanted to know if it would hurt to go from 24 hours to 18/6.............it wont like stunt growth or nothing will it
will it hurt my plant to go from 24 hours of light to 18/6

Nope it wont hurt them at all; I just switched my light schedule today from 24/7 to 18/6.

I feel that they need some dark resting period to grow and rejuvinate. Ever notice how the leaves just stand straight up when the lights come on? That's phototropism...point toward the light. then in the dark period they relax and rest their leaves. I feel that the rest is much needed...just like sleep to us. I know I appreciate a nap now and again. LOL

well she is about a month old and I have had her under 24 hours from the begining and she has been doing quite well, but I am probably going to switch to 18/6 for sake of the electricity i figured I would ask that question I would hate for something to happen to my momma plant, I appreciate the replies by the way

It should be fine but if your really worried about shocking her you could first go to a 20/4 cycle for a week or so then drop to the final 18/6.
