White Widow & Money Maker LED Perlite Hempy Manifold

Wow I've never tried hempy bt your girls are making me want to just awesome. I just started a journal tryna collect the 50 most fire strains available so any recommendations would definitely be appreciated. Might have to find another white widow since I've heard they are one of the best smokes

Hey thanks for the compliment. Collecting the 50 most fire strains available will be quite a task. Godbud was pretty nice. LSD by Barney's farm was really nice also. I've never grown the strains in this journal so I won't be able to comment till completed. Peace!!

Nice trimming. Are those tops all white, looks like bleached from light? That can be because of the small photo not showing all the hairs. I had to ask because you do not want it to progress. Cheers man! :Love: :Namaste:

Keen eyes Tomula!! I noticed that as well. I've seen it before under intense HP's lighting and it turned out to be massive dense hairs during flower growth. I had my LEDs @ 14" so decided to move it to 16" and watch to make sure it doesn't progress. Watch the results of defoliating after a week, should be good. Peace!!

I will be running another journal of white widow and money maker with a longer veg period. I'm a little disappointed at the size as I have a lot of room, heightwise. Prolly do 4 - 8 headers when we get there. Peace!!
 
Looking good over here! 4 week veg roughly would be ok next time maybe more depends on your space. Take it easy brother!

I pulled a ton of leaves and there were still a bunch more I could have trimmed. Unfortunately they are all so dense with

foliage I didn't want to risk damaging any bud sites! I don't think I've ever had such a small stretch before, it's almost

confusing. That being said, growing has taught me to be patient as best as I can lol. Thanks G2HM, I was reading/replying to

your thread @ the same time you were in mine lol. Peace!!
 
I moved a few around that looked like they were getting bleached. I raised the one light to be slightly

higher and placed them under it. Still learning this growing under LEDs.

I hear you on that stretch...

Mine stretched and filled my net pretty well but it almost seems to be over rather quickly

I lucked out i guess because space is at a premium in my world lol

Kinda curious about the bleaching...
Its from the lights being too close and burning the bud?
Like light burn?

Im guessing this is possible with hid too?
But with hid and the intensity and heat i would think that the quality would suffer considerably from it right?

If thats is the case is it the same for leds? Even tho its not heating the bud so much? If that makes sense?

Just a little curious because
Your plants look amazing so is it more just an appearance thing?

or does the bleaching affect quality and potency in general?

 
Hey 420 brother..ive learned different plant strains can take the lights closer or need to be farther..example for me is white widows like about 18 inches flowering..now crown royals will grow from 10 inches away no sweat..no set distance with the leds..its see how close u can go then back them off..
