Hey 420 brother..ive learned different plant strains can take the lights closer or need to be farther..example for me is white widows like about 18 inches flowering..now crown royals will grow from 10 inches away no sweat..no set distance with the leds..its see how close u can go then back them off..

Thanks for the info, bro. Seems the MM's are the only ones effected. Light was sitting about 15" away. That being said the ones getting the bleaching were in the middle receiving light from both panels. Peace!!

Oh yea. Sometimes i just move them to a diff location as the par light values change around the light..you should me able to find out you light pv with little research..then youll know the HOT spots ..

I've tried finding a par light value diagram for the mars reflector 144/5w and have come up empty handed. I figured mars hydro should have had but don't or I am looking it up wrong. Any help would be awesome. Thanks bro

I hear you on that stretch...

Mine stretched and filled my net pretty well but it almost seems to be over rather quickly

I lucked out i guess because space is at a premium in my world lol

Kinda curious about the bleaching...
Its from the lights being too close and burning the bud?
Like light burn?

Im guessing this is possible with hid too?
But with hid and the intensity and heat i would think that the quality would suffer considerably from it right?

If thats is the case is it the same for leds? Even tho its not heating the bud so much? If that makes sense?

Bleached buds are useless. I reccomendyou cut them off around middle into flower, the buds will get thicker. Ppl around here call cutting the bud tips backbuilding. It helps with overall yield. I will be doing that with my girls for sure. More info about it here: Link

The remaining MM has recovered and is vegging nicely with her current 8 heads. Out of the tent shots for the rest coming tomorrow night.

Wow that is at 18" n I have two in 3x3 @ 15". I can see why I was having an issue where the light overlaps. I think I may have still been working with hps on the brain. I've grown my whole life with it, seems it's a hard habit to shake. I moved both units to 17" in hopes that the bleaching doesn't get worse.
