White spots on hydrocorn

Hi all I have white spots showing up on my hydrocorn and I have white specks on a few fan leafs. I think it might be mites but am not sure I noticed a few leads look chewed. I have looked through the hydrocorn the best I could and cannot find anything as well as I cannot see any webs on the plants or bugs. Has anyone had white specs show up on their hydrocorn before. Probably salt deposits. Are you using synthetic salt based nutrients?

Thanks for the reply JimmyJames905. Yes I am using an all in one powder made buy green house seed co. But the white spots are showing up in to the hydrocorn they aren't even getting any neuts on them is why I thought mites possibly.

Do you see any webs. Take some of the hydrostone off the top. Inspect thoroughly.

My best advice is that if you even suspect above soil bugs get ladybugs. They're $4.00 for like 300 (don't use all 300) and they'll eat most pests in a matter of days.

There are no webs on the girls but in the rocks I might have seen a string looked like a cat hair almost. I will inspect my hydrocorn Moore and see if I can find anything. I sprayed everything last night with bug be gone and the top of the hydrocorn. I would imagine if I bought lady bugs I will have to wait or they might die from everything being sprayed.

Ya. You could just give the stone a wash. I don't use hydro (I'm a soil head) so I would inquire with other hydro growers.
