No DIY pipe makers ?
Guess you have to have the passion, been collecting exotic wood for 20 plus years.
Good friend is custom cue maker, he taught a little,, I made few customs pool cues, converting metal lathes to cut wood,
Thoughts about the kind of pipe i like is very much like Native American peace pipe.
I do not care for taste of wood when I smoke weed, and there are heath risks associated to wooden pipes ..
All my pipes are lined with some kind of tubing .
The top swivels to open the bowl ,,was bitch to make. Its Kabon Ebony and Thuya wood. Thuys ( Thine trees ) have been extinct for 300 years .
Thuya wood is the root of the thine tree that is only from the Atlas MTN North Africa. That burnt 300 years ago.
