Where to purchase a ballast?

Im moving soon and i wanted to set up a grow room and i was wondering if anybody had any information on where to purchase ballast for hps lights either 600 or 1000 watt and where to find the bulbs. all i could find at local hardware stores were 400 watt HPS and HD lights.

your local lighting and electric Supply store will have what ya' want.

Hydroponic stores and the internet are the best places for those type of ballasts. Some high end fish stores carry the metal halides too.

have you tried checking local hydro-shops? I searched high and low online for a "great" deal and found the "best" deal in person. If you don't have the blessing of a local "emergency" shop for shit that can't wait for shipping then buy from our sponsors. Support the local peeps either here or in your hood!!!
