When to put a clone in to flowering 12/12

just wondering when can u put a clone onto 12/12 light so it starts to bud does it have to be a certain size or could i do it when its say half a foot in a size? also how long does flowering usually take till i can cut it down

From my knowledge you can put a clone at 12/12 anytime. Flowering time all depends on the type of strain you have.

Anytime after it has a root. The earlier you flower the smaller the plant. It saves time in veg, not really much for flower phase but some folks do pull them one week early.
