When to add nutes to FFOF/FFHF soil?

Week 1 of Veg... my plants are in FF Ocean Forest/FF Happy Frog (50/50)... added only CalMag thus far in first feeding with RO water. I think I'm going to run normal tap water while Ph'ing down from 8 (where my water currently sits out of the faucet.

I was told by one person at the hydro store that I shouldn't add nutes for 30 days, is this accurate? I don't want to hurt the plants so figured I'd ask.

I was probably going to purchase the 3 bottle FoxFarm or Earth Juice lineup.

Any help/suggestions are appreciated, thank you!

3 weeks in is when i added my nutes in. Tho every plant is different let them tell you what they need
