When to add net

I recently started an indoor grow and have limited verticle space so I have one quick question about scrog.

Plants are 1 and a half weeks into veg. Could I put the screen up at 12-16 inches and let them veg into it and grow across the net?

Any advice is greatly appreciated

I always put the net at 1/3 to 1/2 the size above the pot that I would like the plant to be at harvest. This will allow you to redirect the growth horizontally until it is full and you flip to 12/12. After the flip they will stretch vertically through the scrog 2-3 times their height. Hope that's what you were looking for...

Place the screen in 1 week before the flip. Then let the plant grow through it and if some are growing taller just tuck that one under so all canopies have even tops for good light penetration.
