When lights fail to come on

I am a novice in the growing department and could use some advice!
i have 6 plants on the go and they
are still in the vegative stage ....i checked them last night and it seems i had a dodgy timer meaning the lights didn't come on......they are on a 18 - 6 light cycle ...when i checked them the lights had been off for around 14 hours ....so i turned the lights back on but oviously on a new 18 hour cycle .......how could this affect my plants could they now bear both male and female flowers ?

They will be fine. Get a good digital timer.

as a one off they will be ok but u will have probs if it continues to happen. in my industrial setups i have grasslin mechanical timers in contactor boxes and they are as fail safe as a timer can get. Even in the smaller grows i do i use them, they are solid.
