When do you start your flowering count?

I was just wondering when does everybody start their count, Day 1 of 12/12 or when you 1st see pistils? The reason I'm asking is I don't wanna switch over to overdrive too soon from using big bud. The 1st 2 weeks of 12/12 my plants wasn't flowering so I have a 2 week gap. Tomorrow is week 5 of 12/12 or 3 weeks of flowering. Your suppose to switch over to overdrive on week 7 but it really only be week 5 going by actual flowering. So I'm a little confused I googled this and came up with mixed answers so thought I'd ask here. I don't think I have 5 week old buds right now looks more like 3.

First day of 12/12 is normally what people prefer to go by.

try e-mailing the company, since their definition of flowering may be when it's first showing flowers, not when the light cycle changes.

I've seen pistils since the 2nd week of veg..I'm with everyone else. The first day of 12/12 is the first day of flowering for me.
