When do cannabis seedlings start to develop a smell?

I'm going to have dozens of seedlings hidden in a confined room that must not have any smell. I can't remember when seedling start to smell. So my question is - when will seedlings start to develop a smell?

I usually get that musty smell after 6 weeks or so with autos so that's when I hook up the filter

There is deffo a dank hashy smell in veg for me, pervasive
I'm nose blind, but GF can smell it from downstairs, sometimes outside in the car park
