Whats your favorite Type/Brand of light Hanger

I have to pick up a couple sets of light hangers for my Sunlight Supply Hoods. I've heard some are better than others. HTG supply has some for $19 a pair but like I said, I have heard some are better than others. Any advice from experience would be helpful.

Lotsa ppl use yo-yos with no problem. I must admit that my first grow i had yo-yos and they were a complete pain in the ass, and my hood wasnt even that heavy..

I've got a 35 lb hood now, and i use rope ratchets. I didn't buy mines online because hydroshops always mark up regular items you can find at department stores just by adding the hydroponic label to it.

what do i mean.. the one im using now came 2 in a pack from home depot.(it real use is to tie shit on top of your truck). Now i bought one from greentrees like a month ago, and they labeled it Light Reflector ratchet. They charged me $19. $26 including shipping. This shit came to my house and only had one hook. I called them and they said on the website it never said it would come with two. Which i will admit is actually true, but why in the hell would you advertise it as a reflector ratchet if it only has one hook? anyway, when i went to home depot i found the exact same one as i bought for $11. 8 bucks cheaper. And the one i ended up getting was almost $3 cheaper than that and came with 2 ratchets.. blah

Yeah I don't like the yo yo's either. I use the 1 inch tie down straps you can pickup at any harware or walmart store for a couple bucks. They're hassle free.

Rope ratchet or zip ties if its raised all the way.

For my T5 I use yo-yos or off-brand, but for HPS reflector I use jack chain with "S" hooks. Rope ratchets are great if you secure them well. I suggest you go to a hardware store and just ask a rep about different options of hanging hardware, just be prepaired with info concerning your application (if they are nosey, just make up an excuse for a reason you need to hang 25-35 lbs i.e. you love salsa, so you are designing an indoor salsa garden and need to hang a light! Or tell them none of their business.)
