The upper bud is fine, but as you progress down the stem, the Bud seems to dry out right on the stem. It does not look like bud rot just brown, dried up bud…
Any thoughts?

And budrot looks different to everyone. If you could take a closer picture of the worst section many will offer thoughts
After staring for along time at the provided pictures it looks like it had gone through an extended period of no water.

It's a little hard clarity wise when I zoom in, seeing what's going on there but from not zooming in and your description of the coloring and texture, I'm gonna say bud rot. What makes you think it's not that, just wondering cause I'm not there and can't see it first hand

i'm guessing it's outdoor. they hit a wet cycle during the evening and early morning, advancing the rot, then it dries during the warmer hours of day, spreading the spores.

The only thing that gets me is. My budrot is usually not dry and crispy especially if it's still in ground.

Because it’s dry and crispy it’s not gray and mushy. It’s just burned almost. And it looks like the only affect the popcorn buds below the main cola.

I’ve heard to look inside the bud if it’s starting inwards going out it’s bud rot. Good Luck CL

How did your harvest go? Did you catch it in time I’m hoping? CL
Mick, I'd pull a piece off and slice her open and see what you got inside. Rather you know for sure now than lose the whole crop buddy. If it's not,Woo-hoo, then we can try to address what else could be going on that wouldn't be nearly as severe an issue

I read that you did Clover lol I think we were on the same page when we read the word brown

I had a good harvest! I only had the rot on a couple of buds. If you are growing indoor you need lots of airflow and good air exchange for your grow space. Also @Azimuth has a recipe for a spray for prevention, if I remember correctly it is Jadam spray.How did your harvest go? Did you catch it in time I’m hoping? CL
I lost that whole plant, rotted inside out. It is what it is. Glad I found it pissed I missed it. Thankful I didn't smoke it.
