What strain is this plant?

Probably hard to know for sure, but I just need a ballpark, what strain it looks like that you've seen before. The leaves are unlike the plants I've grown or have seen grown so far (I'm a noob).

No-one will be able to say for sure. Towards flower time and harvest smoke time where you will be able to taste and smell it which may offer a slim chance of id, but theres so many hybrids and crosses that it would take genetic testing to know what strain we are looking at.

One thing that I can say though is its an indica/indica dominant plant.

The plant is looking good what type of soil are you using ? but good question and ask a lot welshpony said it once in flower a few weeks you'll know somewhat but keep a close eye too make sure its not a male.

Thanks guys. It is my dad's plant. He has it in an outdoor raised grow box in a mix of potting soil, sand, and his compost.
