What should I do?

These three female plant cuttings are between 2 and 5 days since pistils showing. They are about 30 days old and have been in 12/12 for about 15 days. They are no where near root bound. When I up pot them should I bury a few nodes since they stretched or don't worry about it? They are in a 5x5 tent with a 300 watt led and 4 40watt cfls. Comments and questions are appreciated. Thank you.

Cant believe they are not root bound.

You should up-pot before setting plants in bloom.

If they stretch to much the light is to far away in your case it is very obvious.
In veg you could burry a node, in bloom I would not do it.

In short uppot now and get the LED ~ 10" over canopy and CFL 2" away is enough.

Keep in mind, you might burn your plants if you move the light more than 12 -16 inches closer at a time, I usually start my clones/seedlings at max distance then move the light closer every three to four days until I see them struggling under the intensity and back it off, then maintain that distance.

I did things this way as a test to learn from. Once they develop a bigger root system reguardless of time I will up pot them and bury a few nodes to see what they will do. They should sprout roots where I cut off the leaves that are now underground. The mother plants are in flower next to them in the tent. One mother is 38" tall and the other is about 30". Plus my ugly duckling is about 10" in flower. Happy growing all.

I have some clones that I started in cups that size, I've topped them twice and they're about 6" tall. Cups are FULL of roots.

You're either root bound or the roots aren't developing as they should.

You got the right idea, but the node spacing is what got me on board for getting more light on them, and I usually pot them up a bit sooner than you to make sure to not stress them out and stunt growth.
