What pest do I have?

so i noticed the first signs of what might be a now pest, and I don't know what it is.
do we have a pest identification thread?

I couldn't find one, so I posted this.

Unless I'm tripping out and they're nothing at all, they're so few right now.
They are tiny white, almost creamy yellow specks, and I've found a couple on upper stems and branches, not on leaves. It seems like when i remove them from the plant they curl up like tiny tiny potato bugs or something. but they're so small. I can't be sure if they're actually doing this. I havent' seen any move. but it seems odd that if they are specks of dust or debris, that they would all seem to have a center in them. like the center or a coiled up bug.

And i might be tripping out even more, but it seems like one of the specks, or bugs in question burrowed into the surface of one leafs stem.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT PEST I HAVE?

plants are showing some yellowing spots, or rusting spots, on a few lower leaves, i chocked it up to un-balanced nutes, as it's recovered on new growth. and upper branches are not showing signs.

I don't have a good enough camera for close ups so i can't post pics of the specks in question.

My last crop had a bunch of spider fucks in it, trying to web my plants. but all my equipment sat for almost 2 months between moving from my old to new space, and was all wiped down before starting the new grow. The mites didn't come from my area though, they came with some clones. before i learned to quarantine new clones.

New grow is Super Lemon Haze by greenhouse seeds. raised from seed and cloned by me. so no outside pests.

I gotta get a handle on this one guys. help me out please?

still no more signs of damage to my plants new growth but i found another one of the creatures in question. BUT IN MY VEG ROOM. so it's definately a pest. but what kind?

it's almost hard to the touch. a bout a quarter millimeter to a half milimeter around. only ever been found on stems and stalks. not on leaves yet.

Looking at the photo of the markings it looks like you have thrips. They are persistent and can get out of control quick and destroy you crop. There are many ways to get rid of organically or with harsher methods. I recommend predatory control with lady bugs or praying mantis also neem oil works well. Azamax work very well and is also organic and can be used while in flower.

lol.

So none of my leaves have silvered or grayed in spots yet. just yellowed spots on lower leaves. what do thrips look like when you first notice them? are they tiny specs of what looks liek dust on the tops of leaves? are they yellow when you first start to see them? or are they black by when you see them? where do i find their shit? underside of leaves? or tops? the only place i've found the small bugs in question is on the stems.

I just sprayed everything down with a light duty pesticide, in hopes to kill or thwart thier growth.

Thrips are very hard to see at all with our eyes. They are itty bitty little things. They start off whitish and maybe light brown. They darken as they get older.

If you have thrips, doubtful you can see them with out a magnifier. The silvery grey spots are the good indicator. So if you are seeing something, most likely it isn' thrips.

Again, pics are going to be the only way for us to help.

i dunno about pests or your pics (since u say they dont do the color justice)

but are u sure pests are causing the problem? the rusty spots your describing almost sound like a cal/mag def or a PH imbalance.
