So i was wondering what nutrients does the plant use more of in flowering. I am wanting to make my own handy mix but am not sure if it uses more K2O & less Nitrogen or what so please help me out guys & gals. :) (Also if you know more than just basics i would like to know more Manganese Boron or if not) Let me know. :) Peace&Pot

Complicated question not knowing exactly what you mean by your own mix ?

  1. Liquid feed ?
  2. Potting compost ?

Home brew teas or super soil potting compost full of goodies, some of information can found in this useful sub section of forums - How to Grow Marijuana Everything You Need to Know

Or a simple research on brand name flower/bloom nutrient will give you a big list of ratios of nutrients used. I would certianly have a look at Blue Planet nutrients, with out laboratiry conditions its gonna be hard to get the right ratio.

To much of this or that can cause lock outs & other defeciencys its a fine balance.

Thanks for the informantion, and i mean i want to make my own liquid feeding mixture at different stages for the plants cycle but didnt know what it used more of during different steps in it life cycle

In veg the main macro nutrients are nitrogen - N, phosphurus - P with a small amount of potassium -K.

Some times the transition switch of hours from veg to flowering time the first couple couple of weeks you might experience nitrogen defeciency, this can be partly related to change of nutrient feed regime & the differnce of NPK values between veg & bloom nutrients etc

In flowering the main macro nutrients used are phosphuros - P, potassium - K with a small amount of nitrogen - N.

I could not possible advise well enough on micro nutrients tho as that would require some research, which can be achieved if you look at NPK values nutrient contents of bat guano & other related product people use in home brew tea feeds.

Also you local water company should have some data of whats in your water supply also & you may find all sorts of useful micro nutrients aviable thier is a considerable differnce between hard & soft water areas :thumb:

E.g hard water is mainly alkline based with a fair amount of macro/micro nutrients being magnesium - Mg & calcium - Ca aviable in supply due to bed rock the water is pumped from etc !!! theirs more to the picture than meets the eye when you start looking at the finer details.

Heres a link to the soil/organic section of the forums Soil you find various post about teas/brews in their if you care to browse through a few pages :peace:
