LED grow lights are available for providing proper lighting to your plant. They also consumes less power and long lasting. So you can use the LED grow lights which are often safe and they helps to healthy growth of your plant.

I would imagine a lot of growers selectively prune their plants of weaker branchs or branches which which may not recieve as much light as others, this may include pinching out any branchs which form pop corn fluff bud.

By removing these branchs provides more energy to the branchs which do which helps in bigger and better bud developement :thumb:

You could also hang cfls down the sides of the plants as to provide addittional lighting which can be kept as close as 1 inch from the leafs etc with out harm.

But would be more incline to view prunning techinques such as low strees training (LST) & lollipopping methods to increase light penertration.

P.s - Dense plant canopys may reduce air flow & coupled with high humidity can be a breeding ground for powdery mildew which will ruin your crop.
