What is your Clone Rooting Gell or Powder?

Do you mean simple aloe sap from the aloe plant, like what is used for burns? How well does it work? The cloning gel was expensive - aloe from my plant is free!

Clonex gel for dipping then 10ml per gallon of clonex solution in a clone box. I have a 99% success ratio haven't had a clipping not take in months

I use jell and powder both,I find the health of the plant to be more important to me,than the additives

Just cut my first two clones and used honey. Usually just use water when taking cuttings from basil etc, but it doesn't always work. Didn't really want to buy rooting powder/gel so thought I'd give honey a try.

Here it is at 5 days in. All should be ready to move out by day 10 tops maybe sooner. Remember I use clonex gel for immediately after the cut. And 10ml per gallon of there cutting/seedling nutrient solution about 99% success rate so these pics are day 5.

Lots of trial and error over the years to be at this point. I've tried alot of stuff other people swear by and just didn't always work for me. Over the time I found what did. Cloning has always been fairly great for me though. I used to donate more Clones to dispensaries than dried meds. But now I focus highly on the dried med side more than cloning. I should take a pic of a clone I took off a straight flower last day of flower. It's a few weeks old and can still see the bud lol.

I never have understood why people use a cloning gel with a bubble cloner. It is washed off the first 60 seconds you plug in the cloner. Does it do THAT much good in 60 seconds?
I have found that using a clone jell in my cloner will make roots in about ten days.
If I do NOT use clone jell, it takes about a week and a half.
The only difference is in the amount of money I spend to get the results.
Anyone have different experience?
Anyone ever try a cloner WITHOUT the jell?

Yes it actually seals the cut. Even once washed. I ran 50 with and 50 without same cloner and approximately 6 out of 10 did not make it. If I could cut that cost little it may be out. I would. This next run I could do a test with photos if people are really interested. Here's a pic of a bud I cloned a cola off a Lil sucker branch at last harvest. Grant it I'm not gonna bud it out. But I will clone the piss out of it then cut her down

i use the liquid "dyna gro". six second dip. and then straingt into pre moistened soil, in a half inch of water, with a heat mat. many of the brands, use the same main ingreident. this ones % is a bit higher. dont know anyone else who uses this. in fact, i saw a generic "root tone" powder, that was only 4.00. same chemical. lower %. but, a freind told me, this is all he uses, and has for years.

Yea, I've done that too. Recently in fact. I got a start of Harlequin. Grew her to a teen and had it tested. Has a CBD to THC ration of 4:1 - - not bad. So, I cloned her to death. Took six good starts off (which was everything she had to give) and grew six starts. Kept the three best looking for mothers.
My clone formulae is: 10ml of Clonex per gallon in the reservoir of the cloner. Put one aspirin in. Ph to 6.0 or thereabouts. Run for a day with nobody in it to stabilize Ph and temp (which I keep in the mid 70's). Cut at 22 degree angle and make a wound on the side. No jell, no powder. Simple and easy cheezy.
Two weeks later ... well, this is what I have. There is about 100 each of AK-47 and Blue Dream.
Harlequin goes ALL IN as soon as I get these in medium.

I have heard of people doing this .. never seen it. I'm going to try it some time with a very easy to clone genetic, just for giggles. Just so I can say "yea, I did that". In addition to the EZ Cloner, I also use oasis plugs and I find that the cheap powder stuff works just fine. I really don't see any difference in time or root percentage.
Also, LOVE your handle buddy. Cunnilingus is my favorite activity - bar none. Would die in the saddle if allowed the time. ;>)
I know that's not your handle - but clever. Rep points for just that.
