What is this?

Hey dudes,

I picked up some bud the other day and it was slightly sticky to touch. I have it lying in between 2 A4 sheets next to a patio door in the living room, trying to dry them out a bit.

The question for you all is...i have no idea what strain this is. Can anyone tell from the photos?

Also is it possible to tell from the photos whether the buds are ready to smoke?
The stem is slightly bendy. Almost but not quite snapping.

wont be able to tell the strain... thats near impossible.

but ready to smoke? ... yes.

could it be better? yes.

if you dont mind waiting, and loosing a tiny bit of weight, you should let it dry until the stem snaps, and then jar cure it for a week.

it will be most potent, and flavorful after that.

i agree with nibec pretty much impossible to tell the strain from pics but thought id throw in my 2 cents.

if its not grinding well and u want to dry it out quick, a little tip i got from a friend was to get a regular household lamp with a lampshade on it, put a piece of A4 paper on top and put your bud on it for 10 to 15 mins turning it half way through till its dry, it stinks the room out but does a good job i usually only buy in 8ths and this way has always worked out good for me when iv bought damp or super sticky weed
