What is this rot from?

Hi All, Well I gave a mate a small plant awhile ago that he didn't take of very well but it turned out ok , now I have it to harvest it's as sticky as hell!! but it has some rot in places just here and there I suspected caterpillars not sure?? .Question is do I chop out any rot and dry as normal ?? it's a bit of an odd plant the leaves just don't look like weed leaves .Today is chop day ,any advice would be awesome !!

That does look like caterpillar damage-I'd chop it out before drying it..might even find a few live caterpillars in there...
You aren't kidding- that plant has some odd leaves!

it has reveged itself,, musta had a huge light schedule change a ways back,,

least, the leaves show all the indicators

no idea about the rot,, for sure tho, cut it out and proceed as normal

Cheers, na been like that from the start outdoors ,just a freak !! I believe Cannabis is related to Sage and thats what the leaves look like ,tell you what very sticky !! and thats not a bad thing LOL well I was going to just trim the whole cola but now going to take the buds off easier to get rid of the dead stuff .
