What if you transfer a hydro weed plant to soil

i was thinking about buying some seeds offline and growing them in a hydro system. Then it hit me that what if one of the plants goes male and i want to keep it since itll be a legit strain....mebe ill want to breed it ya know? would it be possible to transfer a hydro plant to a soil plant?? just to get it away from the females? would it survive?

Yes, you can transfer a hydro plant into the soil, but you will want to make sure the plant is strong with a good root before you do so. This will reduce the chance of too much stress on the plant.

Get high quality soil (not Miracle Gro or other cheap stuff) and you shouldn't have any troubles at all. Done this myself without a fuss. Just make sure that you give the plant some time to adjust to its new home.

pro mix is a good option. most hydro stores carry it, and hardware stores sell the cheaper version (but its fine)
