What happened to Quebec Gold strain?

I've been curious to try this strain but can't find a dispensary anywhere in my area that has it. It's an M39 x Freezeland cross-strain, but I haven't been able to find much information about this strain's history or its genetics. It seems like a 'lost' old school type of strain that's been sort of forgotten.

Does anyone know about this strain and what it's like?
