May 31, 2022 #2 0 013 Well-Known Member Member of the Month August 2021 Generally speaking hydro parts and tubing should be blacked out, when water is exposed to light it promotes algae growth….. looks like nice filter does it have a UV component to. mitigate algae?? give it a whirl and tell us what you discover
