West Hollywood Pot Shop Offers Free Marijuana To Veterans

A pot shop in West Hollywood is offering free marijuana to military men and women.

KNX 1070's Margaret Carrero reports that Zen Healing has offered "freebies" to the homeless and disabled for years, but they've extended that generosity to veterans.

"This was just a way to give a little more into a group that I feel, is obviously not necessarily homeless, but is something that needs to be addressed," said owner Andrew Kramer.

A medical marijuana patient said, "If goodies are something that makes them feel better, and gives them happiness and comfort to their lives, I think that's a great thing."

Some research suggests that medical marijuana use helps alleviate symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, but those studies remain limited.

I love seeing post's and and news segments like this !! Its great to see people helping other people who are less fortunate for one reason or another.. It just goes to show there is still kindness and humanity left it this world. Its a great pity though that there are so many greedy corparations and big business who only care about PROFITS !! The world needs to slow down and learn to live together not always trying to WIN. well il take my hat off to Zen Healing they have made the world a better place to people who could use a helping hand...

I also like the freebies ...
I moved down to socal from norcal and am searching for a local dispensary .. i found 3 that were closer by 45 minutes .. but i choose to go to this one and spend my $
