Well water making your plants sick

You got the best equipment temp humidity air flow just right, PH water temp on the money, most expensive lights you can get. You might've tried RO water. But as soon as you push the ppm pass 400+ this happens




Its not your fault its the well water.
My system RDWC
Chiller
Combo leds and mh/hps
Room temp 75-78 day 68-70 night
Humidity depends on what stage of growth your in seedlings 70 two weeks 65 flowering 60 last week 45
Water PH in res 5.8-6.0
Well water 143 ppm - PH 7.8. That's not bad right. Well water can have a bunch of stuff in it some good some bad.
The bad calcium carbonate it bounds to phosphorus and makes calcium phosphate. Lockout of these nutes will lockout iron magnesium and so on.

Now I use my pond water
122 ppm - PH 7.4
Fish ducks frogs small water bugs plant life all around.
I run the water through a .5 carbon filter just to clean it up. PPM 92 - PH 7.1
Now the nutes are up to ppm 720 and they can go higher.
If I run that high with the old well water the plants would be dead in two or three days.
Here's day two at 720 ppm.

Here are the two missing photos of post up top, Nute lockout. These are growing in Rockwool ppm 500 AV nutes PH 5.7-6.0
On well water.

So now I’ Going to bring them back to life.
In one week they will look better

Day 3 ppm almost 800 getting better! Nice darker leaves uniform colors now happen.

My well water is pretty bad ppm 780 and ph 8.8, but I run it through a hydrologic stealth RO 300 and all my water comes out at ppm 10 and ph 5.8.
I use it along with z7 in a 20 and a 10 gallon reservoir with no problems.

Works for me up 500ppm then trouble.
I'm on day 3 for this experiment, but plants are starting to kick.

Your well water would make some damn fine corn squeezins.

Well here we are day 5.

Hit them with safer’s soap.
Some white hairs are going red, I know they’ll grow some new ones.
I need something better.
On an upper note, the little ones are doing much better. New growth and losing the dark purple.
