We're honored to be sponsors of this great site and we'd like to quickly introduce what we do to everyone. We've been in the DIY LED business for over 3 years (doesn't sound like much but LED years are like dog years) and cater to hobbyist worldwide. We specialize in putting together DIY kits which are easy to use and allow full customization of colors/wavelengths, lens angles, and sizes.
For those unfamiliar with DIY LEDs the biggest benefits are customization, price and ease of replacement. You can get the exact ratio of reds/blues/UV/etc in your fixture, and our kits are often 1/2 to 1/3 the price of traditional fixtures. Unlike most out-of-the-box grow lights our DIY kits come with 3 or 5 watt name brand LEDs such as Philips and CREE, and are also available a la carte. If an LED happens to go out with a DIY set-up typically you can simply swap out the bad LED and you're back in business within minutes instead of days or weeks with other fixtures!
