May 12th photoperiod girls update
The couple days we have had quite the days at work and feeling a little under the weather due to allergies. Ever since I broke my nose 15 years ago, spring has a hay day with my sinuses. But moving on...
The girls underwent a huge defoliation last weekend and took a couple days to figure out where they were are what they are supposed to be doing. Last night they got another full feeding and have rebounded considerably. They have continued on with their fabulous growth. Last night we spent a good 3 hours in the room mixing up a ton of soil for some transplants and other tending duties.
3 out of the 4 clones had roots coming out of their rapid rooters yesterday so they made their way into some 3 gallon smart pots. The one that didn't have any noticeable roots coming out went into a solo cup. Didn't want to use a bunch of soil if she didn't take. It was the one that we took from a 6 week into flower purple kush. No expectations on that one, but if it takes it'll be awesome.
Since the clones have made their way into their new homes, it opened up the area for the seedlings to move in. Everyone has settled in nicely into their new environment. I turned off the blue leds so the picture would turn out better.
We also have a newcomer to the garden, everyone welcome Miss Aurora our Northern Lights Blue. She decided to make an appearance this afternoon!
Project flux capacitor has commenced from the topping and she has started to grow her new "flux arms"!
They 7 week old girls have a nice even canopy going on and we love it! (except Miss Sparkle over there in the back trying to give us a pound of buds in the future lol)
Speaking of Sparkle (dinafem cheese) she has spread her wings a couple more inches since I last measured her.
And here is a group photo of the girls with their newly acquired clone sisters and 2 moms
2 of the Purple kush in flower will be put into darkness tonight and will be harvested first thing Saturday morning. 36 hours of dark will do them just fine. The other 2 will go another 2 weeks or so. The buds just keep getting bigger and the trichomes are a little milky. We will push them for as long as possible.
That's all I have for this evening. Hope everyone is having a great week...we are almost to the weekend, hang in there!
