Weird pods?

My one plant has these pods on it. Is this normal? The plants new growth is also weird. Small and yellowy

perfectly normal,, those calyx's at each node are normal,,it is starting to flower looks like

These are preflowers, between your nodes. Lucky for you they are clayxes with what looks like some brown pistils Signifying that your "girl" is be coming mature. It's the same area you need to be concerned when looking for "boy" parts which look alot like a small bunch of grapes at first then mature into banana like fingers, hence the term "nanas".
