Thanks to quick reply, what gives the impression of nitrogen def.? I don't doubt your judgment I just want to learn as much a possible. I do not have fish however. Any other suggestions to balance out?

I think it just the light in the photo that gives the impression of a N diff.are the leaves pale when you see them? if so jlt might be right.
other than that they are very nice and should make you a proud Mary:)
Oh and she looks to be a sativa strain.

It's mostly the light intensity altering the picture, but there is just a tiny bit of yellow on the leaves closest to the bud site. If that indicates nitro def, what can I do? I agree with it being sativa by the leaves near the buds, the leaves lower on the plant look thicker like indica. Could this mean its hybrid? Or that it's indica and the leaves near the top of the plant are just thinning
Out because the flowers are sucking up the energy ? Thoughts?

could very well be a sativa/indica mix. its rare to get a %100 anything in bag seed.
from the looks you still have awhile before harvest so if you have some fish fert or guano/worm casting mix that might help keep her green. hope that helps and Happy Gardening:)

This may be a dumb question, but lets say I got a bag of "mids" .. Can those seeds turn out to be something really nice? Even tho the product wasn't anything to brag on..
Maybe it was just really old stuff?

Also I'm using 2-15-15 one day, water the next, then a dry day then repeat. Any thoughts or suggestions? Also does that 2% N cover my Nit. Needs for budding? Anything I should use on top of the 2-15-15.. I'm growing in soil with 2 2700k CFLs per plant if that helps

there is no dumb question! well sometimes He He
sure you can take mediocre weed and get some good meds out of it.
1) you control the grow so how they are fed and selected time of harvest makes a big difference.
most crap you get on the street is grown solely for the cash and Quality is the last thing on the dealers mind.
2) you control the cure which also will improve quality. nothing like a smooth tasty smoke:) I have grown bagseed that was always better than the stuff it came from.

generally when in flower you want to cut back on Nitrogen. but if there seems to be more growing to be done a little N will go along way.
you could add 1 part urine to 10 parts water one time and that should carry you to the end of grow.(I know Ewww) but it works.
the phosphorous in your mix is a good one and the potassium might be a little high but should be ok.
sometimes its what and how you feel she is growing that gives the best results:)

your very welcome!
Lol I'm not opposed to anything! Maybe I'll go that a try. Thanks for all the advice and insight fish cakes :)
and welcome to:420: there are many here willing to help and learn so check out some journals
mine is at the bottom of the page just click the one that says the last hoorah 2046.just might meet some crazy but awesome growers there:welcome:

When a plant is low on N (nitrogen) it will produce less chloraplast in the plant which is what make the plant appear green because that is the color of light the chloroplast reflects from the sun. As well as conducting photosynthesis, they carry out almost all fatty acid synthesis in plants, and are involved in a plant's immune response. A chloroplast is a type of plastid which specializes in photosynthesis. During photosynthesis, chloroplasts capture the sun's light energy, and store it in the energy storage molecules ATP and NADPH while freeing oxygen from water.

So the yellow is a sign that the chloroplast (the bank) is empty and wants you to make a deposit of nitrogen lol. Chloroplast nitrogen accounted for 75 to 80% of total leaf nitrogen so that is the main storage of plants nitrogen.

EXAMPLE; Humans have Mitochondria. Mitochondria are sometimes described as "cellular power plants" because they generate most of the cell's supply of adenosine triphosphate, used as a source of chemical energy. So think of that for a plant, if you dont have a full chloroplast, then you have more energy to use for the plant.

Learn stuff about how a plant works and you will learn how to make your plant happy : )

Same here, ask if you have questions before you make BIG changes, learn from other's mistakes ; P

Thanks for being so cool about this! I'm the definition of a beginner lol. But def wanna learn as much as I can retain! What is everyone's opinion on super cropping?

Super cropping is how its done when you want more yield for plants, there are different styles to do that too, you can bend/snap the branches so they repair and regen. another way is tieing them down with string, oping up the center so new nodes can grow.

Another thing you can try later is doing defoliation which i have a picture on my northern lights thread you can reference, i did a higher amount then you probably want to start with but you will get the idea.

if in doubt just veg longer to make them bigger! ;p you can allways trim, bend later if they get TOO big : )

to me that depends on why you think you need to do it.
is there an issue with height or do you want to grow more tops?
pending how late you are in flower makes a difference and I wouldnt go much past 3weeks. jlt is right about getting more flowers sense the bent plant has more access to light and some strains like it more than others.
for the most part though they love the abuse they get. Lst is more likely the way you want to go now.
my 2046 plant looks like a science project with the supercrop and Lst that has been done to it.
one great thing is with bagseed you can do all kinds of mean horrible things to them and if it don't work try another seed.
if you want though just grow this one out and next time plant 2 and do things to one and let the other grow and see what works best for you.
nobody here is going to smoke your stuff just you. so do what makes you happy!
