Week 3 flower: orange pistils coming?

Hi I am a newbie and it’s week 3 of flower and my 2 strains both have started showing orange hairs. The bubba kush plant has more and has had them for a week or so. The northern lights has barely any yet. I found a hermie in the room the other day but I took it out before it pollinated anything and I haven’t seen any bananas on either plants yet. I have a 200w led that I keep on 12/12. Maybe possible light leaks?

If even a single staminate (aka "male") flower on your hermaphrodite managed to open and release pollen before you removed it, might be you'll find a seed forming at the end of each one of those orange pistils.

Some things that people spray on/near their crop causes pistils to wither/brown, too.

Also, it happens with age. And, because all of the flowers on a female cannabis plant are not created at the same time, some pistils will have this happen at an earlier date than others. Three weeks into the flowering phase seems a little early, but who knows...

I have never seen orange hairs after 3 weeks . Now red hairs on a very small cherry pie auto stunned me !

Could be different things. I have heard some Kush strains hair will turn red if there is to much nitrogen flower. I can't confirm that myself. I have seen similar things and am looking into that now.
Most likely the red hairs are going to make seeds. It doesn't take much pollen. With fans running in tents it can move pollen around easily.
