Watering Flower in the dark

Hi -

Can you water plants (Veg or Flower) in the dark if you're using a green light? Any risks? Any benefits? I would like to water my Flower room about 5 hours before the lights (@ 3pm, lights go on @ 8pm) go on versus doing it 6 hours after the lights go on (which is the potential situation for tonight - @ 2am).

My Flower room is about 1 week away from the flushing process beginning.

You making this way more difficult than it has to be. Just water when lights come on.

I think most people avoid watering in the dark because it raises the humidity and the plant stays wet longer, increasing the chances of mold or bugs showing up. That's all I really know about it though

I see no reason to water during the dark. I do try to water within the first hour of coming on though. I think of it as a nice drink in the morning to start the days work!

I take it this is a one time scheduling thing?? Since you are this far into flower and have obviously been watering at a certain time before? When was the last watering? Could they potentially go an extra day without it in order to water with lights on?
