Water cure journal

Well not really a good journal but a start....I seen the water cure method so I figured I'd try it ..what the heck it's only buds!..took a couple buds from my auto plant gave them a h202 bath then immersed them in water ...the 1st day not much happened to the water so I was wondering if the chloramines in my water had any effect so I went and bought some bottled water (as I don't have the carbon filter for chloramines on my ro sytstem yet)...day two ...water started getting cloudy I will post a picture daily as I water cure for the next 5 days ...for a total of 7 days here is a picture of the buds used I did not weigh them before I started
my question is after the cure and the buds are ready to store in a jar what humidity reading on a hygrometer should you store them at?
....also my new pipe made from my LST plant stalk....

What is water curing supposed to do for you?

supposed to cure faster, takes out some of the taste and smell, smoother smoke, the thc is supposed to be more concentrated ......just going to give it a try....

After you take the bud out of the water..you have to dry it ..go through the same steps you do when drying the normal way...

when storing in jars should I use a hydrometer or once it's water cured is it done and don't worry about it just put it in a jar, a bowl,or in rolling papers?

I just did one bud last year...smoked it once it was dry..one grower water cured his whole harvest..maybe he will see this post and donate...

day two... the water is a little cloudy, the buds, and the fresh water ready for day three!...

DAY THREE ...THE WATER WAS CLOUDY TODAY ..YOU CAN SMELL THE 'GREEN' COMING OUT....BUDS LOOK LIKE THEY SHRUNK A LITTLE SINCE THE START DAY 4 COMING!

Day five done...water still coming out cloudy and still a little green smelling...ready for day six....

Aren't you loosing a bunch of trichomes by putting them in water??

not that I know of and from what I've read ....they don't dissolve ..I still see them on the buds.....from what I seen on the water hash method the water has to be cold, with ice and you really have to work to get them off using a egg beater....this is an experiment for me the results will be in on weds.

Day six is done one more day...water a little cloudy, a little smelly...I guess I could have cut more of the leaves off before I started I'll try and cut them before I dry...took a total of 5 gal, of distilled water

Water hash ??..i use a drill with a paint stirrer attached...cold water and ice..

no it's a water cure when I take it out weds. and fast dry it it will be cured

Tricomes are not water soluble. He will lose no THC by water curing.
