That's your purple problem. That is way, way too cold. That plant is a healthy fluxer to withstand 50 degree soil.

Go get a Mylar blanket and wrap it around the container about 2 hours before the sun goes down. That'll keep the heat from dispersing at night. Throw some Styrofoam on blocks on top of the soil in the evening. leave a little ventilation Bro, you don't want a steam oven going on a night.

Hi all you crazy people on this tread....

I need some help, I found some eggs on my Indoor lady (she is the off spring of my current MONSTER) and i have NO idea what they are can you guys jump in and help here cuzz the always seem to have the answer to everything .

Ok so here are the eggs what do you think... (photos are not the best it was taken with my phone)

OH BTW BEFORE I FORGET!!!!!

Trichs i have a solution to your problem.... I used to own snakes at one stage, in there enclosure you place a "Hot Mat" under the floor to keep the temp up in there, it is a very simple concept, Two layers of Mylar with a thin element inside, now the best part is the one side of these mats are sticky so you can stick them on the outside of the pot this should heat things up in the pot just right.

You can get them from any pet shop, they are cheap and come in lots of sizes and are strait forward to connect...

Rooster, you can remove that leaf, put it in a jar with holes (an empty salt shaker) and let them hatch out. See what comes. I can't tell from the eggs what it is and I am not familiar with all you insects over in Africa. You can also bring it to a garden center for identification. It may be a beneficial insect.

We did that one year with an egg case I found. It was about two inches long and pretty fat. I put it into the jar and left it in cool, dry place. One night we hear this thrashing around in the jar and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Lo and behold, it was a Hawk moth. Thirty years ago I didn't know what the egg case looked like. Now I love to see them, although, they are the larval stage of the tobacco horned worm which will eat a plant down in one day. Fortunately, they really love tomatoes. Interestingly, they call the one which loves tomato leaves a tobacco worm. The one which loves tobacco is called the tomato horn worm. Duh.

Look you could even allow the sun to warm the soil and pavers and put a pre-cut blanket whatever over the soil to keep the temp up longer. and the fluxing greenhouse, dude

Great minds think alike TD, I have been puuting black plastic & some black rocks on the soil to heat it up, last night when it was 48°, I put the moth tent/tripod over her, then tucked her in with a blanky.. Thanks TassD!

I think pretty much everybody concurs that your night temps are way too low for the plant. I also suspect you may be over watering. The number ONE reason people tried to return plants to my nursery was their fault. Over water. Nobody believe me because their plants turned brown and crisped up, but that IS the same symptoms as under watering. I never fertilize a plant in stress. Your problem is cultural, not chemical. Get the plant into at least a 70 degree room and in a few hours the soil will warm up. If you do that, do not wrap the pot because you will keep the heat out and insulate the cold in the container.

Can someone, anyone, tell me if there is an ez way to UNCHECK the MULTI quote checks, after replying to multiple quotes?

When I send a multi, them move on to do it again, all the prior posts, are still checked, can't they be "wiped"/ reset, this is a pain!

I don't know if it's available there but I used a 3mm (1/8") polystyrene with a reflective face to retain temps at night. The cops loved it lol .....Never saw it used before so questions a plenty
