Aquarium Water has a lot of nitrifying bacteria and supports life.

Life is good and fish poo is an excellent fertilizer (feeds the good bacteria that feed the roots)

sorry i missunderstood, so you can use aquarium water. Do you just dip in or use the water after using the hoover (the gravel syphon thing)

Would make sence as fish poo is used to fertalise the aquarium plants

I have baby fish and seed-shrimps, so I don't vacuum the gravel, but yes.

I use a tube with filter material at the hole to stop anything being sucked up.

Then I squeeze the aquarium filter out in the sucked up water bucket.

I had to bring up a previous post two pages back...too funny

Oh my gosh loopity...[has] turned into real budding plants

...and so the story began...

I think it illustrates the story pretty well.


When she was younger and more flexible,

she trained hard with the rest of them, sometimes even harder.

When she grew up and bloomed into a beautiful young lady,

all she was interested in was looking good and having lots of pretty flowers.
