Hey Sweet Lady - nope same old beans…. same old cantankerous 013. !’m drop an order soon tho since we are down to 4 beans. I’ve got 6 empty one gallon glass jars, guess it’s time for tolerance break cuz I will be totally dankrupt by the weekend.

too funny girl - you are in rare form today!!! So true fungus gnats & spider mites are the bane of my grow life. I’m working on predator defenses as hard as I can go.

I should modify that I’m trying to germ a few now…. and still have 4 beans left in reserve. I will drop some cash very soon. I just want to be sure the predators are in sufficient numbers before I get too far along.

My greatest fear is running out. My brain is always two grows ahead.

I don’t have any more seeds so I’ll need to master my clones. It is winter here, and my clones hate it. They are developing so slowly. I’ll stick with them tho.

My green dream is to have 3 nice choices of bud at all times. If I play my cards right I have 3 different strains atm so that’s achievable. My last harvest was the nicest looking and smelling bud I’ve produced yet, not up to 420 standard, but good for me. I’m hopeful this next grow will be good.

What do you mean rare form? Maaaaaaaaate I’m funny as fuck!

I don’t mean to rub salt in your insect wounds but.. I have had zero mites this grow. First grow ever I’ve had no mites. I’m thinking it’s weather related.

My little monster is a slow grower that’s fo sho.

My other two clones don’t look real clever either. I think they respond better in warmer weather.

I am not sure how big my barrier spray/mite repellent spray role played. The true test will be in Spring/summer.

I was reusing dirt and I think that was detrimental.

I bought a spray from my local nursery that was cheap as chips, and it is brilliant. By the end of her grow Reggie had barely any nits.

Works out ok tho. I will have both veggers and flowering plants. I think I’ll have to watch for herm in that monster tho. She looks 50 shades of wrong.
 
I was just preparing to ask - what made the difference? Cool I’m glad you have turned the corner. I’m sure you know you can bake soil in the oven at 220F for 30 minutes to sterilize it and kill off nasties and while that might be good for clone startup it sounds like a real pain for anything more than a few cups of soil.

Personally I would rather nuke lil buggers with chems but that wasn’t working out too hot for me

013 as long as your arsehole points to the ground I will NEVER bake dirt in my oven!

In fact when I read you took dirt into your kitchen and plonked it in your oven I clutched my pearls in HORROR!
 
Snip those clones and keep a high shelf dedicated for a few clone mothers. Its also called bonsai moms but you keep the plants small in small-ish container to restrict growth.

It’s possible to clone generation after generation but from what I’ve read this usually ends poorly, it used to be considered genetic drift but I think the current rationale is that over time we introduce germs that cause that lineage to get weaker. Prolly not the best explantation but I’m tired from working in the sun & my V8 brain is firing on 7 burnt cylinders

but my point is you’ve got the knack for clone moms they don’t need your occupy your prime tent space just keep them getting some side light for 14 or 18 hours each day

Hmmmm I don’t understand what you mean. Keeping on a high shelf. I’ve never heard of bonsai mums.
