VG's Prescription For Success With Atreum Lighting, Weed Seeds Express & Prescription Blend

Heya VG! :ciao:

I’m late, as usual :eye-roll:

Off to a very good start - looking verdant. :yummy:

Hope ya feel better soon! :green_heart:
It's never too late to join in.

I'm getting better but it's slow going. The fatigue is the most bothersome part.
A few more days I should be back to normal.

Late night chickie update.

All is good here. They seem to be digging the nutes.
I'll be turning up the light a touch in the morning or moving them a tad closer.

Hope y'all are well.

VG, are you watering them to run-off already?

FYI, the nutritional breakdown for PB Core A + Core B at recommended dose of 10ml/gal each:

N 158ppm
P 54ppm
K 217ppm
Ca 124ppm
Mg 77ppm
S 96ppm
Fe 3.1ppm

732ppm from active ingredients - TDS will be higher.

Ratios look fine - maybe a bit hot for early veg, but certainly wouldn’t expect any deficiencies from this mix. I would probably add a couple of fertigations at 7.5ml/gal each after week 2.

Do those numbers include the other three bottles or just the A and B?

I would think that if you're showing off a sponsor you would be following their feeding chart, no? At least until they recommend something else (or the plants do!).

But what do I know. 🤷
Which is exactly what I would expect VG to do. My opinions on fertigating usually only guide my own actions.
:surf:

All's well that sleeps well! Good night. :)
Good morning!
I fell asleep right after posting.
Feeling a bit better today.

Your photography skills  !
Thanks Stone.
Not bad for a $75 Motorola.
Wish that I could afford a real camera or a better phone.
Gotta do the best I can with what I have for now.

I've been watering fully since sprout.

It's really hard to drown anything in Pro Mix since it holds so much oxygen.

When I do a review I try to stick to the schedule.
Some nutrient lines are left to interpretation (1part nutes) while others have schedules that are meant to be followed pretty closely.

I couldn't call it a review if I didn't use the entire system.

I think it’s terrific that you are trying out one of the sponsors. My “Who knows?” shouldn’t be translated as a challenge - I am as curious as anyone else about this sponsor’s products. It would be great to have another sponsor that I could try and recommend. And I would never presume to persuade you from following the provided schedule. Everything I posted above are only my opinions.

Mebbe @Prescription Blend can share their experience that led them to recommend the same dose of Core A and Core B base nutrients from early veg through flower. And did they ever try anything different?
:hippy:

Problem I have with charts is that they can't possibly know how powerful my lamp is, size of pot I'm using, how often I feed/water, what strain it is etc, so I think they often quote maximums
I start low and only up dosage if she tells me she's hungry for something, but I do keep a pretty close eye on defs

I do realize that the leap from week 2 to week 3 is a big one. I am a bit nervous about it but plan on going forth anyway.
The reason for my stubbornness is because I'm taking new growers into consideration.
They are provided with a schedule and many probably wouldn't have the questions that we do about it. They would just follow it.
If this burns up my plants, I have more seeds. I can also attempt to save the plants if the damage isn't severe.
All that is lost is time and a small amount of nutes if I have to start over.
The Bubba is supposed to be a heavy feeder and hopefully won't have an issue with the bump up. I saw conflicting info on the Chemdawg though.

Normally, I would use that approach as well.
We all have different equipment, environment and styles of growing and that makes for seemingly endless outcomes.

I don't know about you but I'd like to see what happens when I jump in feet first and trust the system.

Sorry about the slightly blurry pics.
Nerve damage is giving me the shakes this morning.
That's the best I could come up with.
Hopefully I'll be able to grab some better pics soon or have the bf take some.
It may be time to get myself a tripod.
