I have been using rockwool and water. The seedlings are about 2 1/2-3 inches tall and they look skinny with little leaves. What am I doing wrong? I am not sure how to get pics here (please help)

You didn't specify if they're clones or seedling started from seed, but in both cases I'd consider transplanting them to your medium of choice as they've probably grown some roots already.
