Ventilation - intake & out take problem/solution

Hi,

have any of you ever met with this kind of setup:

intake of "fresh" air comes from the same room where also out take / exhaust goes.

This is a room where intake & out take meets and this room is like 5x bigger and has 2 windows so it's possible to change air in this room daily.

Air from the "grow room" is well filtered so odor stays inside and I'm also using dehumidifier inside grow room, so moisture shouldn't be a problem (if that might be a problem due to same room where air goes and where it comes from).

Do you think this kind of set up could work? Or should I find a better way for air exchanging?

here is a sketch for better understanding and appreciate any opinions:

You should be OK with that I would try to move them farther apart if you can. I run something similar I have 2 rooms and tied them together pull fresh air inside on one end exhaust out take outside. But my AC actually exhaust into my building room I have doors I can open up and exchange all my air in the building out. You'll be fine buddy just might have to tweak it once or twice but it is doable. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Side note... there's no attic to shoot too ?

Ok nice :)
I'll move exhaust line for 1-2m down (according to picture)

Same here, room where exhaust and fresh air changes, is part of the building.

Of course this was my first option :) exhaust would go through chimney - which is not in use and 2m away and then out through attic (not out of the building) - it would spread around attic and then slowly penetrate outside, but I'd have to make holes in my walls and then somehow connect everything,... It would be complicated so I'd rather do this way and we'll see how it works. thanks for help :D

Thanks, will do something like that :) I will open the windows at least once per day.

In what conditions you think it is possible that air passing out through window becomes noticable? Due to moisture etc..
