can someone explain a vaporizer to me, how does it work, what does it do,etc.

In simple terms: Vaporization is the process of extracting active ingredients from cannabis or other herbs without combustion.

This is useful because it is much less harmful than smoking, and a lot more efficient at extracting the active ingredients.

When inhaling vapor, it feels much nicer and you can taste the flavour of the herb you are inhaling.

It's often useful for people who do not smoke, or do not wish to take up smoking, but wish to take advantage of various cannabis and recieve the benefits, without taking up the habit of smoking.

To recap, here are the advantages of vaporizing.
* Much more efficient over smoking
* Much less harmful than smoking
* The vapor tastes nicer
* Vapor is a lot less of an annoyance to your throat

basically THC crystals burn at a lower temperature than marijuana itself. using a vaporizer, you can reach that ideal temperature and burn THC only. THC doesnt produce a smoke, so all youll see is a vapor. yes you get very high (it feels different than any other method of smoking) but it takes longer to kick in and doesnt last as long IMO. uses less bud too

Just recently got a vaporizor...I mos def recommend. I no longer smoke any other way anymore, its 100 times better for my lungs the high is diffrent but if you know what you are doing you can get real lit everytime. heres mine its just the standard burner+glass w tube. cost $20.

probably saved my life. my body was starting to really feel the effects of everyday bong rips and what not...

yeah but the only problem with it is it's not a very good "social" way of smoking your herb. personally i find it a bit awkward smoking out of a vapo, especially a home-made one (the same way you freebase crack) with friends. but at home, just before i go to sleep.... helllllllll yeaaaaa...
