Vaporizer help! want to make one before I buy one

My closest smokeshop, The Magic Dragon sells the cheapest vape for $80. I never used a vaporizer before and none of my friends have one. I would like to make a simple one. I want to try it out so I know if I like it then I will buy one. If any of you guys can send me links of how to make a homemad vaprizer that would be SWEET! Gonna go smoke a bowl now! :biggrin:

don't buy the vaporizers from magic dragon
they suck
its a ripoff

fuck that, get a craftsman heatgun with the rotatry dial ($100) and the vcb from www.vriptech.com it's awesome u can use it with a bong or rig it to use with bags (turkey size oven bags)

i was going to make one out of soldering gun.
connect the two terminals on the gun to a little metal cup (maby a bottle cap) and use one of them wall dimmer switches to adjust the heat.
