Using high wattage CFL

Hey guys,

I'm using basic light sockets that plug directly into a wall and a splitter to turn it into 2 sockets. It says that the socket can have 660 watts so if I use a 105w(400 equivalent) and a 23w(100 equivalent) in one socket safely?

Yes, because the socket is only concerned with actual wattage, not equivalent wattage.

You'll have better results using the smaller 23w CFL's
