Using a Wood Moisture Meter for buds

I just use those stick moisture/temp gauges that fit in my jars to get me in the right range I shoot for. As it will tell me moisture in the jarred flower or an idea anyway, bought 6+ of them and rotate if more jars than that from harvest to make sure they all in the same range.

Got a pack of 20 for like 12$ American

I also have a humidity scan on my multimeter, but I have not used. Maybe I should compare meters.

are you talking the moisture meter they use for construction and such? I use one I had mine for 2 grows Im really kinda checking it out . I belive you want to be at 11% and their ready to jar They dont measure RH like a hygrometer They are pretty accurate they coincide just about with snapping a stem it would ,be handy for really big buds. The ones I have seen have 2 settings besure to use wood.

My last grow I picked up a Wood Moisture Meter. You can get a decent one for under $25 and it takes the guesswork out of drying. Just push those pins into a bud and it tells you the moisture%. Shoot for 10-11% before putting them in a jar, and it should read around 60-62% in the jar.

I was looking at the pin type of meter, but due to the stickiness of our flower, this would be problematic. Thank You for your suggestion
