Urgent! Bud rot? Please help - Photos

I am growing a cream caramel autoflower, in my greenhouse. Its been raining for 2 days straight, and my plant is nearly ready for harvest. I noticed yesterday small droplets of water on the edges of some leaves. The sun has finally decided to make an appearance, and ive just checked my plant over, and taken a sample to look under the microscope.

The tips of the leaves around the buds look like they are turning purple/black. When I look under the microscope I can see small black spots/patches. Some seem to be inside the trichomes? There has been some blackfly on the plant so im hoping they are just droppings? One of the vegetative leaves seem to have some small aphids under the leaf, so I decided to cut it off. Any ideas?

This is the only plant out of 4 that survived germination and went onto to grow after a lot of tender love and care. I seriously hope it isn't bud rot!

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, ive looked on the internet and cant really see any clear explanation?

Re: URGENT! bud rot? Please help, photos

Hello Jahmid

The coloring is likely normal, some strains will naturally turn color as harvest approaches.

I see no signs of bud rot. You will know bud rot quite easily should you ever have it. The leaves will turn brown next to the bud, not the tips. Also, when you bend the bud at a suspected site, you will see a mass of white hairs (like spider web) in the early stages and it will turn brown later.

Cheers Celt! I feel slightly calmer now. Going out for another inspection. Thanks!

Anyone else want to re-assure me?

I totally agree with TheCelt. My Purple Jem autos go just like that with the colouring. Some phenos go almost black.

Bud rot most often starts deep inside the buds and by the time you see it it's too late to do anything but cut the whole cola off carefully so as not to spread the spores and burn it. I would take it away and use the non-rotten bits to make oil myself.

Buy an umbrella for her!
