Up potting

I'm growing in soil (echo thrive). So far they are in 1ltr pots my plan was to go to 3ltrs and then their final big 56ltr fabric pots. But I'm wondering at what stage to up pot and whether the middle step is actually necessary? They are currently on day 12 from seed. This is the first time growing photos rather than autos that start and finnish in there final pot or I grow outdoors so first time dealing with this set up inside....... cheers for all and any help.

Most soil growers would up pot one or two more times before putting them into their final pots.

56l ≈ 15gal for the folks in the USA.

I'd at least go from 3l to 10l-19l (3 - 5gal), before going to your final pot.

Sounds interesting not sure If i have the space so will it hurt to go straight to the big pots from a 3ltr?

I'd check with @Emilya. I don't use soil, but grow in coco/perlite instead.
