Re: Unknown symptoms , Please help !

First time i have seen any think like that :thumb:

As it the very first set of leaf i'd leave em on to see how it progress's as i'm not sure at the moment, it might just grow out of it ?

If it spreads to further newer growth get some pic's & keep this thread up dated for more opinions.

Oh ye i'm sure ya get some replies on PH & all of that stuff so ya may wish to prepare some info which may help in diagnosis...

Examples - soil/compost used brand name if known, PH of water, nutrients used etc

Oh ye a i forgot welcome to the forums :high-five:

A little tip - don't forget to reply as it keeps people interested that ya active 'n' watching 'n' learning

Hello :D
Thanks for your quick reply. i don't know really the PH of my water. ^^"
I don't want to say it but i'm a beginner; it's my first grow.
sorry . . .
I used a normal nutrients like 35 ml/l of 8 - 4 - 6.
I using a soil mix (i don't know his discreption).

Re: Unknown symptoms , Please help !

Thank you everyone !
I will post the next few days some pics, maybe it will be easier to detect this symptoms (if it exist), i hope not. . .
But what about the humidity and the heat , are the okay for a plant of 22 days old ?

Re: Unknown symptoms , Please help !

A bit small for 21 days,I'm pretty sure it's burnt.after a transplant and plain water you should be fine, good luck!

35 ml pr liter of water? hmmm sounds a bit harsh for the little thing imo.

when m plants are taking up most ml of my biobizz nutes they get about 3 ml of grow 4 ml of bloom. thats 7ml pr l when they take up the most nutes in bloom. the topmax and alg a mic i also use have near to nothing on the N-P-K side so 35ml nutes with a N-P-K 8-4-6 in a cheap soil ( properly also prefertilized from the productionsite. so i would flush that little thing ASAP

and regarding PH values you can properly find them on your local water puridicationplant website or your home regions local website.

me my self never used PH correction in ten years of growing, at least not when i have grown with soil. not saying its not worth it just said i do not use it.

I built a microgrow for a friend and gave him a seed AK47 Auto x some other strain x ruderalis. within two weeks of growing the fool dropped the pot with the plant like 1,5 foot to the floor, it landed on the pot bottom but it whent right into shock. actually looked a lot like this plant in the leafs just a bit more yellowing. but yeah in your case its the nutes. but just to trying to say, beware they don''t like bungee jumping with no bungee :)

humidity could also be bumped up some. but imo thats not that urgent exept when they are seedlings and have not developed the roots properly, and as well with your temp level. temps should be about 27-28 degrees Celsius. plant growth slows down at temps above the 30 degrees area. but also at bit if tempt are too low

Re: Unknown symptoms , Please help !

Thanks guys.
I wonder if i have really good understood. So it is a burning defect; Nutrients or Light ?
I'm growing in a micro place like DIY and using 6 CFLs (100w and 960 lm each) and about 5 cm of distance from the top of the plant.

Thank you in advance :)

Re: Unknown symptoms , Please help !

Burning is not a defect. It's either over feeding, spilling nutrient mix on the leaves, or over heating.
I can't really tell which it is from your description.
What are your temperatures in your grow area? If you get above 80f, you're wandering into bad territory. Get a thermometer.
I start babies on a very thinned out nutrient mix. I usually start at 1/4 strength. Your babies are too young for a full strength nutrient mix. Plus, you don't mention the type of soil... does it have nutrients mixed into it already and if so, have you accounted for those additional nutrients in your mix?
When you fed them last, did you spill any of that water on the leaves? While it's possible to feed your plant thru the leaves (see foliar feeding), it requires a much weaker mix.

Re: Unknown symptoms , Please help !

I don't know exactly the description of my soilmix ( I get the best soilmix for tomatoes that exist in my country). But the temperature is constantly in 24Cº (70 F).
And yeah you're right, forgot to tell you that .. I spilled onetime some of this water on here leaves, and that was for the last 3days.
I did a stupid thing right ?! :O

Re: Unknown symptoms , Please help !

Well... to be a bit rude.... yes, you did a stupid thing, but that's EXACTLY how we all learn and it's why we're here to help.
Don't get your nutrient mix on you plant leaves. You now know the results.
It can be tricky when the plant is small, but gets much easier as the plant grows up from the soil more.

Let's talk about recovery for a moment. You've been accidently foliar feeding them and they're really suffering from a pretty extreme nutrient burn. They may not fully recover.
If you have undamaged clones or more seeds, you may want to start over.
If you keep them, you should flush them with lots of clear water to pull some of the nutrients out of the soil. You should mist the leaves to try to remove any dried nutrient residue.
Don't feed them any more nutrients until the new growth appears normal and then start them on a light mix until they're recovered.

put it in your bath room in the shower and just use your shower head to flush water true the bucket for a good while so the water wil run out the bottom of your pot. let it run for a while and the let the soil drip of for some time, and then don't water it for some days. it will maybe become a bit droopy and hang a bit for a couple of days course of all of the water in the soil but you soil gets cleaned out and thats key right now and as somebody said gently wash of the remaining nutes on the leafs those leaf will still take up some light even they got damaged, just untill you have a couple of new leaf sets then i would just pick them of they properly be ready for retirement when a couple of new leaf has fully grown out :)

Re: Unknown symptoms , Please help !
